	23rd Apr 2009	01 No 65 returns to the K&ESR on 23rd April 2009 On 23rd March 2009 SECR 01 No 65 returned to the K&ESR for the first time in preservation. She is seen here on a loaded test run.
	4th Oct 2008	Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway On 4th October 2008 a group of K&ESR volunteers visited the S&KLR to celebrate the life of the late Andy Wilton, a volunteer on both railways. The date was also the 39th anniversary of the handover of the line from Bowaters to the LCGB. We can only hope the line survives to make the 40th anniversary and beyond.

	4th Feb 2007	Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway Not sure of the year these were taken, probably around 1973. The original slides were Agfa and have deteriorated and faded somewhat. I think these were taken with an old Instamatic.
	3rd Feb 2007	Keighley & Worth Valley Railway Not sure when these were taken, probably mid 80s I would guess. I would think by the amount of locos it must have been a gala event of some sort. If you know, please tell me!
	3rd Feb 2007	Watercress Line The pictures in this collection were taken on a couple of visits to the Mid Hant's Railway in 1984/5.

Welcome

Welcome to my collection of photos. Most of the pictures on this site were taken during the 1980s, mostly before I got actively involved in the Kent & East Sussex Railway although there are some shots on that line that I took not long after I started.

Many of the older the photos on this site were taken with a Canon AV1 on transparencies, these have been scanned recently which explains the fairly poor quality of some of the shots. Unfortunately I also seem to have taken rather a lot of pictures in poor light, however I don't consider myself a photographer, I just like to take pictures for the record.

I hope that some of the pictures bring back memories to those that were around the various railways 20 odd years ago. I still have a lot more to scan so please pop back again in a few weeks to see what else I publish, there's lots more to come! I have a new digital camera now, so you might just see some up to date photos as well!
